(no subject)

i am back in truro, from t.o. it was a fun, exhausting, busy trip in which mom and i painted every surface but the trim (even the inside of the kitchen cabinets and the ceiling), got all major pieces of furniture and spent entirely too much money on cab fare. my feet are just now recovering, and i don't want to see a paintbrush for at least three weeks. but i have orange walls in the dining room, a yellow kitchen and a few blue walls. i have a tv and there is a sofabed on the way, for all of my guests to enjoy. hint hint.

i fly back on the 29th, very early (7am) in the morning so as to be in the city for 1pm orientation events. woo! i am rather excited to get back to my house, as it was a little sad leaving it.

meanwhile, while we were away, my cousin had her baby - a litle boy, payton john (mckenna? i think he has her last name, but i'm not sure). anyway, i haven't met him yet, but with my blond cousin and her indian boyfriend, the baby can't but be beautiful.

big party in seafoam today, a mass of birthdays and anniversaries, including the 2nd birthday of red-headed keigan, a smoopie doll-face if i've ever seen one. all these beautiful cousin's babies.
